Well here again it is getting ready for the Holidays just around the corner. A wonderful time of year to help us reflect on the true meaning of the gospel and who Jesus is. I always start mine off with American Thanksgiving. This year we are expecting about 100 folk to turn up so this should be a fun time this year. I am figuring about 25 kg. of tatties and 7-8 large turkeys. Ruth is making 6-8 pumpkin pies and who knows what else we end up with. Then the next Sunday we start Advent, always I want to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas and that will mean the realization that Jesus came for a purpose of provision of Salvation available to all mankind. Aye we do want to rejoice about the Babe in the Manger, but we also want to remember the Saviour who loves us.
